Francis Landscaping utilizes the highest quality, most effective turf care products available on the market. Our fertilization and weed program is comprised of six(6) applications, delivered at critical intervals throughout the year.
Francis Landscaping is exceptionally qualified to bring out the best in your lawn, using a unique combination of technically advanced fertilizers, pre-emergents, herbicides and fungicides. Our applications are described in more detail below:
Application One
Early Spring - Delivered between February 15 and March 20. This application prohibits the growth of crabgrass and other weeks as well as provides an early spring "green-up".
Application Two
Late Spring - Delivered between April 15 and May 20. This application consists of fertilizer and post-emergent weed control.
Application Three
Early Summer - Delivered between June 1 and July 31. This application consists of post-emergent crabgrass control and summer fertilizer. Fungicides may be recommended for brown patch this time of year.
Application Four
Late Summer - Delivered between July 15 and August 31. Pelletized Lime will be applied to your lawn. In addition, we will spot treat for broadleaf and grassy weeds, including Nutsedge.
Application Five
Early Fall - Delivered between September 15 and October 31. This application may consist of a starter fertilizer and be delivered in conjunction with annual core aeration and over-seeding. If core aeration is not performed, a balanced fertilizer will be applied.
Application Six
Late Fall - Delivered between November 15 and December 20. A winterizer will be applied to your turf to promote root growth and keep your lawn looking great until we return in early Spring.
